Hello Everyone,

I'd like to deploy Firefox ESR 60.6.1 in my company (4000 computers) with PowerShell / SCMM package, but i'm having trouble to set a default software for .ica (citrix) extension . I'd like to auto check automaticaly the box (Remember my choice for "xxx", please see the screenshot, sorry for french btw) in order to make it easier for the users.

I know this parameter is written in handlers.json, but I was wondering if it can be set in the mozilla.cfg.

Thank you very much for your help.

There is a way to do this via autoconfig

But you'll need to flip the sandbox pref (or use the ESR)

I'm investigating adding this to policy.

Thanks Mike !

I've probably get something wrong, cause it does not seems to work for me. May I ask you a little more of your expertise ?

I've added the whole script with those two modified lines below in the autoconfig.js, that I copy directly in the default folder during the deployment of Firefox ESR 60.6.1.

// Change "image/tiff" the mime type you want to set the preference for var realMIMEInfo = mimeService.getFromTypeAndExtension("ica", "receiver");

// This should be the path to the .app file on Mac or the EXE on Windows file.initWithPath("C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\wfcrun32.exe");

Thank you very much !

So get fromtype and extension should be:

"application/x-ica", "ica"

And you should use double slashes for the initWithPath.
