How to stop this annoyance?

unfortunately you are seeing a bug in the way Thunderbird handles the tracking bugs in your email or RSS feeds. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524281

I had thought there was a more active bug, but this is what I could find today.

However I have stopped seeing it, it stopped and I did not notice. What version of Thunderbird are you using? I am on 60.5

Do you have the option to auto show remote content selected or not ? Menu icon > Options > Privacy Uncheck / do not select 'Allow remote content in messages' click on 'Exceptions' button Is there any reference to 'snapchat' ? If yes, then select it and click on 'Remove site'. click on 'Save changes' click on 'OK'

No references to Snapchat and “allow remote content” wasn’t checked.

I “untrusted” everything and took out all the certificates and that seemed to do the trick.

Thanks!
