Could you try either of these:

  • Slide the mouse pointer all the way to the top of the screen, which should trigger the toolbar area to roll down, then either:
    • right-click (Ctrl+click) > Exit Full Screen Mode
    • click the "3-bar" menu button, then click the exit full screen icon on the far right of the Zoom controls
  • Press Command+Shift+F
