Unresponsive scripts freeze Thunderbird

For quite some time now, I've been having trouble with scripts causing Thunderbird to lock up, and the only way I can resolve the problem is by shutting down Thunderbird via the Task Manager. The only time this freeze seems to happen is when I'm moving a group of filtered messages to a folder (any folder, not a specific one). Any idea what could be causing this problem? I have removed my profile from Windows Defender, but it's still happening, so I guess that wasn't the problem.

Start Windows 10 in safe mode. Do you still see the problem?
