Is there a two-line option for sender/subject/date panel?

Other email clients have it. It frees up more space for the vertical message panel. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? An add-on perhaps?

I think you're looking for an Outlook-style Threads Pane. It is a long-requested feature that is unlikely to be implemented. I'm not aware of any add-on that does this.

Thank you but this add-on seems to relate to individual message headers. I would like the message list panel to have the option for two lines where Correspondent is on line one and Subject and date/time are on the line below thus narrowing that panel giving more space to the vertical message pane.
