I am receiving emails but the name of the user is not the one who has sent the email to me.

Some of my emails that I receive have the correct name of the sender but many of the others have the name of someone else other than the sender.

This usually happens when you save an entry in one of your address books with a commonly used email address and a specific name. Did you save a message that came through Facebook and was from your daughter in one of your books? You have at least 2 address books to check. The personal and the collected books.

How do you determine that?

I am receiving notifications from Facebook and the name it is from is my daughter, but she has nothing to do with the posting. This has been working correctly until very recently. The name of the person posting the comment is shown in the email but the name of whom it is from is my daughter who did not post the facebook comment.

Thank you so much for your help, Airmail. I found her name in my address book as the facebook notification or whatever the text said. She was also listed in my address book normally, as I would expect to find her email address. I don't know how I put her name in as the facebook notification but I deleted it and my problem is solved. Thank you again for your help. It was very helpful.
