Old emails have stars & are not automatically deleted. Is there a way to turn off all in view?

Chosen solution

Select the first one, hold Shift, and select the last one. If you can't see which ones are starred, right-click any column button, e.g. Date, Subject, From and check the Star column.

View/Sort by/Star, then select all the starred messages, then type S to remove the star.
