When does Firefox for Windows plan to support Chromecast

Firefox 52.9.0 ESR was the last to still run on the old EOL WinXP/Vista and will get no more updates as Firefox 52 ESR is now EOL.

Sending videos to Chromecast in only really on Firefox for Android currently. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-firefox-android-send-videos-chromecast

There is or was a bug about Chromecast on desktop Firefox. Bug 1171698 - Add Casting (Chromecast) Capabilities to Desktop

However please do not comment in the above Bug unless you have something very helpful in getting things moving. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html
