How do I stop emails going to full screen view
My hands are becoming shaky. Often when I click on a message to read it it jumps to full screen view and I have to scroll all the way back to 'inbox'. Is there a way of stopping this from happening. I have tried changing my mouse settings but nothing solves this problem.

Lets look at this from the start of what you said. How about closing all the tabs so you don't have to scroll.
When you are in your "inbox" right click on the tab at the top of the windows and select close all other tabs. Then when you do mess up, you will be one tab from the inbox not however many you are now. You should also be clicking on the X in the corner of the tab (not the windows) and closing it you will then go straight back to your inbox.
You might also want to look at changing the double click sensitivity in the windows control panel.

You could avoid the mouse by using the Message Pane (F8) to display message contents, and use the F (forward) and B (back) keys to move through the message list. F6 cycles the focus between the Folder Pane, Threads Pane (message list) and the Message Pane.
F8 removes the message pane altogether (F8 to toggle back) and F6 seems merely to move the highlight bar between the mailbox listing and the message list. Sorry, but thanks for the suggestion :)
Double clicking a message opens the message in a new tab or window. The fact you state you need to scroll back to the Inbox indicates you never bother closing any of them Right click a tab and select Close other tabs to clean up what you have noq. Then adjust the click speed on your mouse to something that works for you
I have three panes open. The list of mailboxes to the left and the right top the list of subjects the bottom being the message. My problem is with the mouse. Depending on how tired I am my finger often trembles and it's then seen as a double-click. I was hoping there was a way of disabling the line of tabs along the top of the screen. An accidental double-click when navigating between mailboxes (I currently use six) is when the problem happens. As soon as I click on a subject header of the mailbox I want to read, a slight tremor results in full screen and I have to scroll back the tabs to 'inbox'. Playing with the mouse settings creates problems in other software. I suppose if it can't be disabled I'll just have to live with it. I don't access mailboxes and transaction site via a wireless device, which conveniently have touch-screens, the risk these day is too great. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Many thanks. This is just the shortcut I needed and saves all that scolling through dozens of tabs. I'm happy with that XX
