Bookmarks sorting - Any progress?
In this archived topic: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1117714?fpa=1
...it was said that improved Bookmarks management was expected in 3rd quarter of 2016. I asked about it in september last year and got some "upvotes" but no replies. Does anyone know if it is still in the pipeline at all?
PC sync is great, but I am really keen to have the ability to add nestable bookmark folders while on Android and to be able to save bookmarks to them or move bookmarks between them.
To me this is a vital part of keeping my life organised but I rarely use a home PC these days.
I would jump at a third-party solution too, sadly I do not have the skills or knowledge required to create an add-on. Could this be a solution?

Hi
You can download the beta version of Firefox for Android from Google Play. I believe there is a earlier version available as well (currently titled Firefox Aurora, may shortly be changing slightly to read as Nightly).
I use a very early version of Firefox myself (on both desktop and Android) and it is a great way to see and use new features, help flag up unresolved issues and provide telemetry to help make Firefox even better.
If you wish to learn more about this, please drop me a private message over this forum (click on my name and select the option to send a message) and I will do my best to assist.

Hi
I am sorry for the delay, but I understand this is currently being worked on right now by the development team and should hopefully be in the early pre-release builds of Firefox for Android soon.
Thanks, that's great news! Do you by any chance have a link to where I can sign up for beta testing?
