Justify setting works when typing e-mail message but not when message is sent or printed

When typing an e-mail I set the type to Justify in order to get an even layout, but when the message is received this is no longer the case all the lines being uneven. I printed the typed message prior to sending and the justify setting had not worked with that either.

If you send me an e-mail like this, then I can look at its headers and encoding and hopefully be able to figure out what is going on.
