Why do messages end up in quarantine
Since "Quarantined" was introduced with many other unasked for folders some important emails from frequent correspondants have turned up there. How does this feature work? Can I control it?
Chosen solution
It's not a Thunderbird feature. Some antispam or antivirus software is most likely to blame, and since the folder has appeared by itself, I'd suggest that this is something your email provider is doing.
Ask your email provider about the "Quarantined" folder.
Which other "unasked for" folders have shown up?
