I am running Firefox 47 on Linux Mint KDE 64. Until version 46, it worked well. But now Search Engine feature doesn't work. I can't add any search engines. In Preferences I even can't click Search tab. I tried visiting http://linuxmint.com/seachengines.php, but it didn't help. Also, reinstalling, refreshing didn't help.

In Firefox 47+ releases only one compressed search.json.mozlz4 file is used to store all search engine data including keywords. Previously used search.json, search-metadata.json, search.sqlite files and the searchplugins folder are no longer used.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution. You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (47.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:
