I need to know the maximum amount of emails this program allows per day, at one time, and how many recipients it allows a single email to go to.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird has a quirky limit based, it seems, on the number of characters used for the accumulated addresses. This resolves to "about 60" addressees.

This limit can be sidestepped by using a Mailing List or a mail merge utility. The other limits are indeed set by your email provider or possibly your ISP.

Ask your email provider. They set limits.

This is an email for a website I built. host has a comparison chart. And using a mail client like mozilla. they limit the amount you can send. and its listed as "varies based on mail client" So I need details. Group is over 100 members and need to be able to mail all at once. sometimes more then once.
