when i log in to yaho mail i get a box asking if i want to update login.yahoo .com. Can i stop this?sage

When I login to yahoo mail after I have successfully entered my password I get a text box with the words login.yahoo.comm would you like to update this login. It shous my email address and underneath my passwork in asterisks. I don't know what it is for and I don't want to have to exit it every time I log in to my mail. I do not seem to have an option regarding passwords in security. I only have the option remember logins for sites and set a master password. I do not want to set a master password just to have my email logins remembered and nothing else.

Hi plumrose, Don`t tick to remember password if it is asking multiple times while logging into Ymail, it can lead to scam also.

I have just unticked remember logins for sites as I now see that I can save any I want and it has sorted my issue thanks.

Thanks I never choose the remember my password option because I am very security conscious having worked in IT for many years. I have not used firefox for a while because I got a new laptop with windows8 so tried out IE for a while (didnn't like it). The layout and wording in the firefox options had changed so it took my a while to figure it out. Thanks for your help
