I'm unable to upload data using Firefox 43.0.4 both at home (Mac OS 10.11) and at work (Mac OS 10.9), but no problems using Safari. On Friday the problem disappeared for the day (without any intervention by me) and I was able to use WeTransfer and Flickr without any problems but the issue has resumed again as of yesterday.

I've done all the suggested resets, reinstall, etc. but have yet to try "uninstall Nvidia Forceware Network Access Manager from the system" as suggested here.

Please would someone provide explicit step-by-step instructions on how exactly to do this on my machine?

hi bigbaddom, are you running "trusteer" software on your device by chance? it has been identified as a cause for many upload issues recently... see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1102907 for example.

i don't think the nvidia software plays a part in your issue, because it would block all connectivity if you are affected (users aren't able to visit any website).

(For the record) I'll mark the above as the solution based on the following: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1102907#answer-829858

Thank you for your reply. Yes I do in fact have Trusteer software installed on both my work and home computer because it's recommended (essential even) for some of my online banking. I have tried disabling Trusteer software and that has solved the problem, but for security I will re-enable Trusteer and use Safari instead for uploading data. This problem I first noticed back in October and I'm amazed that Trusteer have not yet fixed it (I presume it's down to them).
... to which I replied,

If anyone needs to have Trusteer software working with Firefox, please contact their support site. You can use this link: https://www.trusteer.com/support/submit-ticket
