What is Synced Tabs?

Recently when I was customizing menu on Nightly 46.0a1(2015-12-19) then I saw a new feature called "Synced Tabs". If it's an old feature, then my bad!! I didn't notice that before. But what does it do? Can someone explain or share a blog related to it?

Hello,

Synced Tabs are tabs that you have open in Firefox on other computers or devices. For example, if you also have Firefox on your phone and you open a tab there, you'll be able to see that tab on your computer through Synced Tabs. It allows you to take your tabs with you when you browse the Web from different computers or devices. You need to use Firefox Sync for this to work.
