Is there a way to display sent mail replies in email threads, so the entire exchange is visible?

Basically, I'd like to combine my Sent Mail (outbox) with my Inbox, so that threads can contain both sides of the conversation. I'm working a tech support position, and I need to be able to easily track a lot of conversations at one time.
