Can't turn off preview pane?

Where are you looking for "View"?

Under the Application Menu (the button with three lines), it's under Options, at least in Windows. In the traditional menu, it is indeed under Layout, so you're not looking where I see it.

What sort of computer are you using? If it's a Mac, the menu layout may well be different.

I was looking under the View category, so that's why I wasn't seeing it. I found it though, & got it turned off. Thanks for your help! I don't know why F8 wasn't toggling it for me though. but I got it turned off. Thanks! If you hadn't said it was under the options, I'd still be looking for it. LOL! By the way, I'm using Windows 10, & have an HP Compaq Presario.
