Am I able to resend an e-mail from the "Sent Mail" folder?

A feature I liked in Outlook (when I had to use it) was re-sending and e-mail from the Sent folder. When I don't get a response, I like to take the existing email and add a line or two to it, then resend. Perhaps I add or subtract a recipient. Is this possible in Thunderbird?

Hello, I think you can do with a right clicking on the message, and then choosing the "modify as a new message" option.

You got it! The specific right-click command is "Edit as new message". It's funny... as long as I have been using a GUI (since Windows 2), I still have trouble finding commands that don't fit MY mental state. I was looking for "resend..." and saw "reply..." but completely ignored "edit...".

Thank you very much.

I too want to 'resend' a message which has 30+ recipients, but if I right click / edit as new message, the list of recipients is truncated to just one :-/

All/any help gratefully appreciated !  :-)
