How do I add additional mailboxes?
I have looked around and cannot find where to do it. Thanks.

Those would be folders, but okay. Right click the top folder where you want to add a new folder and select New Folder.
Just to be sure, are you using IMAP email and you want to see more of the folders already on the server? If so right click the account and select Subscribe.

Depending on what Add Additional Mailboxes means to you.
If you want additional email addresses you establish those with the mail provider of your choosing.
If you already have multiple email addresses and you want to add them to Thunderbird, there are a couple of ways to get there.
From the Menu Bar, press the alt key if the menu bar is not showing, then select File-New-Existing Mail Account
Using the AppMenu button select New Message-Existing Mail Account
