Since a recent update of Firefox (38.0.5) I have been unable to access my gmail inbox using the AJAX web client. The HTML simplified web client works.

The behaviour I can see is like this: Firefox seems to be stuck in an eternal loop of redirections and the loading bar, once it has reached 75%, bounces left and right -- never going beyond 75%.

In the Console log tool in Firefox, I can see the following error message when trying to resolve "gmail.com":

"Content Security Policy: [my translation from French] The page settings have prevented a ressource from loading attranslation https://s.rfnd.me/covus_wrapp.js («script-src https://*.talkgadget.google.com https://mail.google.com 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval' https://talkgadget.google.com https://www.googleapis.com https://www-gm-opensocial.googleusercontent.com https://docs.google.com https://www.google.com https://s.ytimg.com https://www.youtube.com https://ssl.google-analytics.com https://apis.google.com https://clients1.google.com https://ssl.gstatic.com https://www.gstatic.com blob: » )

Here are the actions I have tried in order to circumvent the issue:

- cleared all cookies & cache;
- repaired Firefox using the "Repair" function;
- uninstalled, delete profile folders, reinstalled a newly downloaded version;
- tried to access the page in safe mode (all plug-ins disabled).

Not to avail. I am pulling my hair.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Okay, apparently GMAIL ajax client was running a test for malware on my Firefox, for which I was positive...

Thank you so much, Malwarebytes!
