Is there a way to delete cookies on exit through a GPO or a registry setting for multiple users?
Need to set this policy on all computers in our company.

Thank you that worked great. Only issue that I have is how can I set the history to always use custom setting in the cfg. It will only apply once I change that.

hi bi577rk, firefox doesn't support group policy settings - the best way to go about deploying some settings across a large number of devices is probably the way described in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences which basically consists of dropping two files into the firefox program folder.
in order to set the policy for cookies,the mozilla.cfg file should contain this line in your case:
lockPref("network.cookie.lifetimePolicy", 2);
Bi577rk, Thanks for asking. Yes there is a way to delete cookies when you close Firefox. First, to make sure the setting is synced, set up Firefox Sync.
Once sync is running on all the computers upon which you would like to modify settings, go to Menu>Preferences>Privacy. Under history, there will be a button that allows you to switch from remember history, never remember history, or custom settings for history. Use custom settings. Just under the checkbox that says "Accept cookies from sites" there will be a button that says Keep until: Choose the option "I close Firefox and you're done.
Have a great day!!
Jon
