Thunderbird profile in C:\Users\.....Thunderbird\Profiles\[profile name].

Copied it to E:\Thunderbird\Profiles\[profile name]

Changed the local server setting to new location.

Brings ups nothing.

Tried to change server location back to C:\Users\.....Thunderbird\Profiles\[profile name]. Got a message that the directory is not suitable for message storage.

Backed up profile with MozBackup.

What do I do to get my profile back?

You need to keep profiles.ini in its original location, and edit it to reference the data's new location on E:.

And undo the changes to Local Directory you made in Account Settings.
