Fairly soon prepaid providers, that piggyback on Verizon, will have access to Verizon LTE. Many of these prepaid have BYOD. Thus perhap one could buy a firefox OS LTE phone and connect to a "Verizon" prepaid provider.

Are all LTE networks the same? I.e., will a firefox OS LTE phone in a different countries work on Verizon LTE? Also, will any of these phone be in English?

Different carriers use different LTE bands, similar to how AT&T and T-Mobile used to use different 3G bands. You could check the device specifications against Verizon's network (not sure if this is accurate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Americas), and also check with the MVNO on what they can support.
