How do I enable spellcheck?

I can read about it being an option in earlier versions. I can find no bug saying it was removed.

I tried the about:config entry layout.spellcheckDefault. There no longer seems to be an advanced option in the settings, despite pages I find saying there used to be. And I can't add a Dictionary because it claims they are incompatible.

I turned off autocorrect on my Kindle Fire HDX 7 because it's more trouble than it's worth. Replacing words not in the Fire dictionary is just annoying and leads to confusion. The buttons are big enough that I rarely mistype. But, when I do, I want the red underline so I can see it and fix it.

People talk about wanting to shut it off in earlier versions, so it has to exist. Please help me find it. And then document it! It's ridiculous how hard it is to find help for Mobile Firefox/Firefox Mobile. It's all for desktop.

Spellcheck is not enabled for Firefox for Android.

Yes, that's why I'm trying to enable it. I know it is a feature, as I can, again, find other people asking how to shut it off with a simple Google search.

Here you go, and official bug talking about getting it working: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=556076 If it didn't exist, there wouldn't be such a bug.

Fennec includes Spellcheck support. It is disabled on Android. How to do I enable it?
