Firefox icon just spins on my windows xp. Has worked for years. Took off Firefox and reinstalled. No luck. Rebooted system and still no luck....but have now lost Internet explorer. Renewed my Norton security 2 days ago and think this might be the issue, but not sure. Any advice?

hello Ellie111, since this can sometimes be caused by malware active on a system, please run a scan with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & microsoft safety scanner.
