I just restored my phone recently. After that none of the whatsapp clients works. All shows error and could not get verification code. I tried openwapp, loqui im, connect a2. Nothings worked. Model spice fireone mifx1

So far I can tell yo from personal experience, that this issues started about 10 days ago, I think probably Whatsapp made some changes that have made the impossible for any of the un-official whatsapp clients to ask for the SMS.

I have two Open C phones: mine I didn't switch the app or reset it before this started, my son's which he did, so far he has being unable to get an sms to log back in.

In fact I'm unable to ask for the sms myself can only keep using ConnectA.

I tried using the WART tool on a Windows or the Linux version to no success so far. 

i doubt this is an issue of any specific phone
