I have uninstalled, reinstalled and looked for it everywhere on my Samsung Tab 4. I can't do anything requiring access to the menubar. Please help.

Firefox for Android does not have a traditional menu bar that displays persistently. If you tap the menu button on your Samsung device (it usually is to the left or right of the main "home" button below the display) Firefox should display a menu. Does that work?

I don't have a "home" button either. I only have a navigation bar with right and left arrows, a refresh icon, and a bookmark icon.

Hmm, sorry, Tab 4 has changed the traditional Samsung setup. Instead of having a menu button, you have a recent apps button to the left of the home button (physical button below the display).

When there is no physical menu button, look for an icon on the right end of the Firefox address bar which is a stack of 3 bars or 3 dots. You would tap that to drop down the menu. Does it appear on your Tab 4?

It's a Tab 3. I do have an icon on the left that opens to show open tabs, but there is no 3 bar or 3 dot drop down button anywhere. Is there a workaround to get me to options and addons?

On the Tab 3, there was a traditional Samsung menu button to the left of the main physical button below the display. To me it looks like an upside-down paper tray. That should call up the Firefox menu.

Yes, I have that, but it only shows the open tabs, or if all are closed, it shows the "home" page which only shows recent pages visited. No access to tools or options or addons.

Hi ataran, I don't know why your device's menu button is triggering the tab list instead of the menu. That makes no sense. Hopefully someone else can suggest how to fix that.

I hope so too, otherwise, I'm off to wig shop. Thanks for your advice anyway.

No, it isn't the button I thought it was. I'm attaching 2 photos. The first one is my search/nav bar. Notice the number on the left of the left arrow. The second one is of what happens when I click on that number. That is the tray like thingy I thought you were talking about. I have nothing that looks like the photo you sent.

Here's the second photo.

Yes, the number on a little pile of squares is to display the tab list. That's normal.

Isn't there a menu button on the bottom of your Tab, to the left of the main button? Sometimes Samsung devices turn off the backlight for the menu and back buttons to save energy, so you might need to tap that area "blind" in order to find the button.
