If I turn off the 4G LTE or uninstall Firefox it doesn't happen.

I've been looking at other web sites for a solution. On Motorola, Verizon and others the solution always includes, "Get rid of Firefox." My initial thoughts are that there is some process (or processes) that Firefox initiates that ties up CPU bandwidth and it stays resident after stopping the browser. With as much negative discussion out there (search: Android overheats), I would expect this would have been run to ground by now and a "Fixit" issued by Mozilla. I also would start monitoring other sites for the "Android overheats" and share the "Fixit" in order to protect the Firefox name. 1. Having said the above, is there a "Fixit"? 2. Is there a troubleshooting procedure. established? 3. Are there reports generated within the phone or Firefox browser that will tell us what is going on? 4. Is there an app that will detail the problem?

hello bucklipe, i'd recommend filing a bug about this issue at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org so that it will get the attention of mozilla's developers!
