How do I find my on addons in Firefox mobile? When I choose my addons it just take me to Firefox on mobile add on page.

Chosen solution

Hi fundiakita, I hadn't considered Add-on Sync. Unfortunately, when I look at the support article, it mentions that it only works desktop-to-desktop and not desktop-to-Android. (How to sync your add-ons with another copy of Firefox)

I'm not familiar with the current sign-on options for the Add-ons site, but it would be very inconvenient to require different logins for the standard and mobile versions, so hopefully there is a way around that.

Hi fundiakita, Please find your addons with these steps:

  1. open a new tab and tap in the url bar: about:addons

or

  1. tap on the menu button and tap on "Tools" then "Addons"

Unfortunately, I have tried both ways and it just takes me to FireFox addons, not to my personal addons. It seems that I'm not the only one.

I already got updated to Firefox 32.0 for Android.

Tools > Add-ons does take me to the expected page showing my one add-on and a "Browse all" link to the Add-ons site.

It's true it takes you there. But, it doesn't list my addons.

I still am not able to get to my addons on the mobile site. I am also unable to login on the mobile site. What do I need to do to get these issues resolved.

Hi fundiakita, Currently the addon site does not keep track of the addons that you have installed in the past. It does keep track of reviews and developer profiles.

If you are a developer and you are having trouble logging in to addons.mozilla.org you can reset your password with this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../pwreset contact #amo for weird account issues.

Are you referring to addons on a previous sync account?

Hi fundiakita, maybe I misunderstood your scenario.

When you use Tools > Add-ons, you should see something similar to the attached screen shot, depending on what you have installed.

If you tap the green puzzle piece icon, then Firefox will navigate to the add-ons site at https://addons.mozilla.org/android/ (actually, using a locale-coded URL such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/).

But you should not need to tap that green puzzle piece icon in order to view installed add-ons. They should be listed immediately below that line.

Also, I'm curious what you mean by "I am also unable to login on the mobile site." -- do you mean on the add-ons site itself?

You are right I get that page, but I don't get a list of my addons.

I see "Your Add-ons" and "Browse all Firefox Add-ons", but I don't see the listing of Ghostery and Quick Gestures as shown in your example. (I understand those are just a sample of someone's addons, I didn't see any of my addons.

But I think I figured out the problem. When I set up the mobile browser I synced my addons and those were what I was looking for to make changes to, but they do not show up as my addons. But when I actually download and installed an addon it did show like your example.

I was using a password manager that I sync as a addon and wanted to make changes for my mobile site. Since it was a sync addon and I don't see it listed, I guess I have to download the addon on the mobile site to make changes.

In regards to the login, yes, when I click on "My Add-ons" at the top it says "register or login". It gives me invalid username or password on the mobile site, but I can do it on my desktop. Do I need to register for moblie, too?

Thanks for your help.
