When I open Thunderbird, I can not see the inbox window. When I click on the icon in my dock (Mac) it's checked like it's open but I can't see it.

This just started a couple of days ago, so not sure what I did. I also have to Force Quit to get Thunderbird to quit. When I click on the icon in the dock after it starts up the menu bar at the top is greyed out and it goes to Firefox not Thunderbird. Thanks for any help.
