Welcome to a new version of Firefox for Android (version 96). Welcome to a new version of Firefox for Android (version 97). In this release, you will find the following updates: =Updated homepage section contains history highlights= The “Recent searches” section on the homepage has been renamed to “Recently visited” and includes a combination of history highlights and history search term groups. Tap Show all in this section to access your full browsing history. You can remove the Recently Visited section by [[Customize the Firefox home screen|customizing your home screen]]. =New prompt when leaving private browsing with active downloads= You’ll now see a prompt when you attempt to leave private browsing with active downloads. =Bug fixes= *We’ve improved performance when it comes to a cold start. *You’ll now see the order of items in your history go from newest to oldest, just as expected. *The talkback no longer reads “Button” twice for the “Show all” button on the home page. *Tab group titles are no longer the wrong color when in private mode. The text is now easily visible. *When dark theme and private mode are enabled, you can see the icons for bookmarks, folders and downloads. *The app no longer crashes when returning to the add-on details menu after changing your device language. *Firefox is no longer slow to search stored passwords.
