Bookmarks are links to websites, making it easy to find your favorite pages . This article goes over the basics of how to create, edit and and remove bookmarks.

How to create a bookmark

Keep things simple, make a bookmark with one click!

While browsing you decide you want to save the site as a bookmark. Awesome!

  • With the site open, click on the star at the end of the Awesome Bar.

The star will turn blue, indicating that the bookmark was created.

The star will turn yellow, indicating that the bookmark was created.

Try it out: Click the star in your Awesome Bar and your page will be bookmarked. Easy, right?

How to edit a bookmark

Now lets give our bookmark a name and a place to live.

  1. Click on the blue star a second time to edit the bookmark.
  2. A window will appear giving you the option to name your bookmark, choose a folder location, and create a tag.

  3. When your changes are complete, click Done.

How to remove a bookmark

Made a mistake? Easily remove that bookmark!

  1. Click on the blue star again.
  2. The Edit this Bookmark window will appear.
  3. Simply click the Remove Bookmark button.
  4. Your bookmark is gone, that's it!

More options in the Library window

The Library window provides more options for managing bookmarks.

  1. On the menu bar, click Bookmarks and select Show All Bookmarks.

  2. The library window will open, from here you can view all bookmarks stored in your Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks folders or Unsorted Bookmarks.
  3. Selecting one or more bookmarks, and then clicking on the Organize-button.pngOrganize button will allow you to reorganize or delete those bookmarks.

  4. You can also create a bookmark or new folder from the Library window by clicking on the
    Organize-button.pngOrganize button and choosing New Bookmark or New Folder.
  1. On the menu bar, click Bookmarks and select Show All Bookmarks.
  2. The library window will open, from here you can view all bookmarks stored in your Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks folders or Unsorted Bookmarks.
  3. From here you can click and drag bookmarks to reorganize, or select to delete.
