Set up a passcode and Face ID in Firefox for iOS

For added security, Firefox works with Apple's Touch ID to let you manage your passwords with your fingerprint or passcode.

  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):

  2. Tap Settings in the menu panel.
  3. Scroll down to Privacy and tap Touch ID & Passcode.
  4. Tap Turn Passcode On.
  5. Enter a four-digit passcode of your choice.
  6. Optional: To use your fingerprint to access your saved logins instead of having to enter a passcode, tap the switch next to Use Touch ID to turn it on.

  7. The switch will turn blue switchonios when it's activated.
