Windows only: Simplify Page is currently available on desktop PC only.
Simplify Page is a Firefox feature that strips away clutter like buttons, ads, and background images from your web prints for better readability and paper/ink savings. The Simplify Page option appears in the Print Preview dialog when printing from a desktop PC.

A new print experience has been rolling out to Firefox 84 users. To print a page using the simplified Reader View layout with the new print dialog, switch the page to Reader View first before calling up print. See: Firefox Reader View for clutter-free web pages.
Using Simplify Page
- Access the print functionality by clicking the menu button The image "fx57menu" does not exist. and selecting .
- In the Print Preview screen, look for the Simplify Page option in the top options bar. If this is available for the web page you're on, it will be black and clickable. Otherwise, it will be greyed out.
- Toggle the Simplify Page checkbox on or off depending on what you want from your print. Turning the option on will remove unwanted buttons, ads and background images from your print. The preview will automatically update to show you how the printed page will appear.
