How do I restore my tabs from last time?

Want to visit the pages you had open the last time you used Firefox? Here are some easy ways to do it.

Access recently closed tabs

  1. Click the Library button 57 library icon on your toolbar. (If you don't see it there, click the menu button fx57menu then click Library).
  2. Click History.
  3. Click Recently Closed Tabs.

Restore the previous session from the Firefox menu

Here's how to get back your tabs and windows from a previous session using the Firefox menu:

  1. Click the menu button Fx57menu on the right side of your toolbar.
  2. Select Restore Previous Session.

Restore the previous session every time you open Firefox

When Firefox starts, a single window is opened by default, displaying your specified home page. You can set Firefox to always show your windows and tabs from your previous session each time you start Firefox. To change your Firefox startup settings:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu Fx57Menu and choose Options.Preferences.
  2. Select the General panel.
  3. Below When Firefox starts select Show your windows and tabs from last time.

  4. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
