Firefox lets you create shortcuts on your Android device home screen, so you can quickly access your favorite websites. You no longer need to type a web address every time you want to access the site – just tap on its shortcut to open the page.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Open Firefox for Android and go to your favorite web page.
  2. Tap the menu button android menu icon
    Menu button - Template:menupreview
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Your shortcut should now appear on your Android device home screen.
Some devices, such as Xiaomi, may need additional permissions to add shortcuts to the home screen. Please check your device settings.
