Firefox gives you even more control over your own browsing information. The new version of Firefox comes with a Forget button, which lets you wipe out only your recent browsing history without affecting the rest.
Here's how to do it in just a few clicks:
- First, add the Forget button to your toolbar: click the menu button The image "new fx menu" does not exist., then
from the Additional Tools and Features panel to your toolbar. You'll only need to do this once!
. Drag the Forget button - When you're ready to clear your recent history, click on the Forget button
on your toolbar.
- Choose a time frame that you'd like to forget (five minutes, two hours or 24 hours) and click the red
- Firefox will clear history and cookies from the specified time frame, close your open tabs and relaunch a new window.
