Firefox Lite provides recommended news curated by Dailyhunt and gathers user data without any personal identifiers to improve the personalized news experience:

To enable/disable the recommended news from Firefox Lite:

  1. Open the Firefox Lite app.
  2. Tap the News firefox lite map icon.
  3. Click the gear icon news pref lite to access the news preference page.
  4. At the bottom of the page, click the toggle to turn on/off the recommended news feature.

  5. After clicking the toggle, you will see a dialog confirming the changes. Click “YES” to confirm and turn the feature on/off.
