Some websites store information about your visit in files called cookies. These cookies are stored in your device and help websites remember your site preferences. Some sites also leave third-party cookies that can be sold to advertisers. Storing too many cookies on your device may also consume precious memory and result in poor performance.

Firefox lets you choose whether or not a

  1. Open Firefox for Android.
  2. Tap the menu button The template "androidmenulocation" does not exist or has no approved revision..
  3. Tap on Settings The template "androidmore" does not exist or has no approved revision.
  4. Tap on Privacy.
  5. Tap on Cookies and select one of the following settings:
    • Enabled: allows all types of cookies.
    • Enabled, excluding 3rd party: allows cookies from sites you visit. This doesn't allow cookies from third parties, which can be sold to advertisers.
    • Disabled: prevents all types of cookies from being stored on your device.
