Learn how to download and access files in Firefox for Android.

How to download a file
To download a file
- Tap on a download link.
- A download confirmation appears, this shows the file name and size.
Tap the button to confirm you want to download the file. - When the download is finished, the Download completed message appears.
Tap the button to view the file with some app installed in your device.
Starting with Firefox for Android version 111, PDFs are displayed in Firefox. To learn how to save a PDF, see Save web pages as PDF in Firefox for Android.
To download an image
- Tap and hold on the image you want to download.
- Select .
- When the download is finished, the Download completed message appears.
Tap the button to view the image.
View and delete download files
You can view and delete your downloaded files from the Downloads page in Firefox.
- Tap the menu button
- Tap
. A list of files that were downloaded on Firefox for Android appears.
- Tap a file in the list to open it.
Remove a download:
- Tap the trash icon
to the right of the file you want to remove from the download list. A confirmation notification appears briefly, with an option to UNDO.
Remove all downloads:
- Tap and hold on one of the files in the list. The screen title becomes 1 selected.
- Tap the three-dot button to the right.
- Tap Select all in the menu.
- Tap again the three-dot button.
- Select Remove in the menu.
A notification, with an option to UNDO, confirms briefly the deletion of the download list. The files are not removed from the device.
