Remove Pocket from your toolbar or menu

Removing Pocket from your toolbar or menu will disable it:

1. Right-clickHold down the Control key while you click the Pocket icon (or right-click the icon).
2. Select Remove from Toolbar.

   

Re-enable Pocket for Firefox

1. Click the menu button The image "new fx menu" does not exist. and select +Customize.
2. Drag the Pocket icon to your toolbar or menu.

   

3. Click Exit Customize to save your changes.

Disable Pocket for Firefox

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press EnterReturn.
   A warning page may appear. Click Accept the Risk and Continue to go to the about:config page.
2. Type pocket in the Search box above the list of preferences.
3. Double-click the extensions.pocket.enabled preference to toggle its value to false.

Re-enable Pocket for Firefox

If you want to re-enable Pocket, do the following:

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press EnterReturn.
   A warning page may appear. Click Accept the Risk and Continue to go to the about:config page.
2. Type pocket in the Search box above the list of preferences.
3. Double-click the extensions.pocket.enabled preference to toggle its value to true.

Note: You can remove the Pocket button from the address bar without disabling Pocket. Right-clickHold down the Control key while you click the Pocket icon (or right-click the icon) and click on Remove from Address Bar.

To add the Pocket button back to the address bar:

1. Click the Page Actions (three-dot) menu button in the address bar.
2. Right-clickHold down the Control key while you click the Save Page to Pocket entry (or right-click the entry).
3. Click on Add to Address Bar.
