Please update your version of Firefox for the latest features and security updates.

This article describes a feature that first became available in Firefox version 56. This new feature will be rolled out gradually over time, so not all users will see it. For more information, including feature availability, see this Mozilla Wiki page.

Firefox lets you automatically fill in your address on forms (for example, when you're ordering something online). Follow these steps to manage this feature.

Turn autofill on or off

  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (select Preferences on older macOS versions).Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and select Settings.
  2. Click the Privacy & Security panel.
  3. In the Forms & Passwords section, put a check mark next to Autofill addresses to turn it on, or remove the check mark to turn it off.
We recommend turning this feature on on private computers only.
