Search shortcuts let you perform a search on your address bar without having to click on a search icon or visiting its page. You can do this by typing in @[shortcut]+[keywords] into your search bar:
Popular search shortcuts will appear on your new tab page as a tile with a magnifying glass. Clicking on these tiles then typing in a search will automatically put the @[shortcut]+[keywords] in to your address bar.
