Part 1 - Reset your Firefox Sync account

This is something you have to do on your desktop.

1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (select Preferences on older macOS versions).Click the menu button and select Settings.
2. Once the options window opens, click on the Sync tab.
3. In the Sync tab click on Manage Account to reveal the options
4. Click on "Use a Different Account". Don’t worry, you will actually be using your same account.
   
   
5. You will get a warning alerting you that this will reset all of your information. Click on Reset All Information.
   
   
6. Now click on Set Up Firefox Sync
7. Next choose “I’m already using Sync on another computer” and click NextContinue.
   
   
8. Now enter your Sync username and password and click NextContinue. Remember, you’re using your original Sync account here.
   
   
9. Enter your Secret Phrase and click NextContinue.
   
   
10. Now choose “Replace all other devices with your local data” and click NextContinue.

12. Verify that the Browser Sync Preferences are set to “Sync Everything” and click NextContinue.
    
    
13. Now click FinishDone and a brand new copy of all your Sync information will be sent to the server. Please leave Firefox open on your desktop to complete this sync process.

Part 2 - Completely refresh your information in Firefox Home

This is something you do in Firefox Home.

1. In Firefox Home, tap the Settings icon at the bottom of the window and then tap the Sign Out button at the top of the window.
   
   
2. Next tap the Sign Out button again and you will be presented with a log in screen.
3. Enter your Firefox Sync username, password and Secret Phrase, then click Done and you will be logged in and Firefox Home will download a new copy of your information.
