Browser display BBC Weather site incorrectly

colin.burns99

Hello,

This first screenshot ( Firefox 1.jpg) is from Firefox. and two problems appear, marked with red - the text on the left is truncated, and the dropdown on the right doesn't work:

The second and third screens (Edge1 and Edge2) are captured from Microsoft Edge, no truncated text, and dropdown works.

Is it me, or Firefox, or the BBC? Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Colin

All fine here in Cornwall, just a few showers.

So yes I imagine it's U :)

Try taking the font size down a px via Settings > Accessibility it looks like the text in the box is being moved down a line maybe.

Update: Yes increased my font size from 16 to 18 and got your image.

It's worth noting that Firefox and Edge may also use different fonts which also has the same effect as they may have different and spacing etc.

Try restarting into Troubleshoot Mode (from Help menu) to rule out addons and customizations — works for me:

Reducing font size from 14 to 12 worked! Many thanks!
