Just got the new update 147.0.1 (Build #2016138271)

Wondering if there is any way to enable opening bookmarks in new tabs without having to menu/long press the link?

I'm pretty sure Firefox made that function by default before this update, and would be nice if they could make that a toggle option rather than wholesale disabling it.

It was actually useful (for me) on mobile. Made it easier to not lose a tab I'm currently on. Now I keep automatically losing the previous open tab with new content, kinda frustrating.

Добрый день! Уже не первый раз встречается проблема когда возврат на предыдущую страницу возвращает на исходную. Например: захожу в поисковик гугл, ввожу запрос и перехожу на какой-нибудь результат, далее возвращаюсь назад и меняю свой запрос в поисковике, захожу на новую страницу из результатов, снова возвращаюсь назад, но попадаю не на последний мой запрос в поисковике а на самые первый.

Dear Firefox Team, I have used Firefox for many years, but the built-in translation feature remains unnecessarily complicated. Every time I must manually select source and target languages, as if defaults and user preferences do not exist. This is not a technical problem, but a basic UX failure already solved by competing browsers. If this trivial but daily issue continues to be ignored, I will unfortunately be forced to stop using Firefox. Please make translations remember language pairs and default to the user’s language. Hi, i sm using live notifications when listening videos from youtube, but recently the play button stopped working. I have to phones and this happans on both, but not at my wifes. Tried to reset the phone, did not helped. Any suggestions if I may ask, please.

Current Permission Settings for Firefox to open links is set to DONT OPEN LINKS

How can I change this to ALLOW TO OPEN LINKS.

Its a big problem because I have Firefox set as Password Manager but when I get emails from sources such as banks or medical or government they wont open and so I cant get to the documents or url they send me.

I am aware of the risk of opening links that might pose security threat so I want to be able to decide for myself. I dont know how this got set to not open links. Maybe Google because they are always changing settings and adding apps WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION.

So sometimes when I set up a new account and say YES TO SAVE PASSWORD it ends up being saved to Google Settings instead

3. Switch Opening screen to Homepage
4. Open a new tab to youtube.com
5. Add to Bookmarks
6. Go to homepage
7. Nothing is showing up, the whole page is empty

PROBLEM SUMMARY: I have ~1,625 bookmarks on my Android tablet (Device D). These bookmarks are NOT syncing to my other devices (Windows 11 + 2x Android). All other devices remain empty – no bookmarks available.

SYNC ACCOUNT: - Email: deviation@nickname.berlin.de (Newly created, old accounts deleted) - All 4 devices signed in + Sync enabled - Sync settings: "Bookmarks" CHECKED ✓ on all

WHAT I'VE TRIED: 1. Cleared Firefox cache on all devices (A/B/C/D) 2. Cleared Firefox data on Android B/C 3. Deleted old Sync accounts server-side (via accounts.firefox.com) 4. Created new account + added devices sequentially 5. WAITED: 2+ hours → No change

SYMPTOM: - Device D: 1,625 bookmarks LOCAL ✓ - Device A/B/C: 0 bookmarks (completely empty) ✗ - Sync status A/B/C: Shows "Sync enabled" + last sync X min ago - → But bookmarks NOT arriving

SUSPECTED CAUSE: Bookmarks from Device D not uploading to Mozilla server → other devices can't sync

LOGS AVAILABLE: - Device A: `about:sync-log` (can provide screenshots) - All devices: Sync settings screenshots

TWO QUESTIONS: 1. Diagnosis: What can I test to debug why bookmarks from Android D are not syncing? (Please NO FAQ links – I need individual instructions for this specific problem.)

2. Fallback option: Is there a way to backup/export the 1,625 bookmarks from Android D WITHOUT Sync (file, SQL export, cloud backup)? I could then manually import to other devices.

I rely on Firefox's auto-fill functionality, so turning it off is not an option for me. Frequently, on secure sites where I am registering or making a purchase, and after I have already filled the form data saved, the fill form banner at the bottom of page remains, blocking the form 'Submit', 'Continue', 'Next', etc. It doesn't happen all the time, so assume this has to do with how the form-fill control interacts with page coding. Is there a workaround for this that does not involve turning auto-fill off?

So, on my pixel I am using my VPN and am getting tired of having to do the Captcha thing everytime I put in a website, I am about ready to uninstall Firefox. I have it synced with my desktop and never have this problem on my PC. How do I stop this?

I downloaded Firefox on my android because I wanted to use Character.AI the same way with the Chatbot Manager extension just as I could do on my PC, the C.AI website works, but all the site elements are not sized/positioned as they are supposed to, as I have seen on chrome. Please try to fix it as soon as possible.

And also, could you confirm if my Chatbot Manager which operates as another page in my browser control C.AI which is another separate page? If not, please try to implement that too.

When using Firefox on Android on a Xiaomi 15, it frequently freezes when coming back to the app and navigating.

Generally the page will go blank white and the missing bar will appear but not move. If you go to the change app android screen (square button), then the thumbnail shows a transparent region where the page content should be.

Closing the app from there and restarting it usually resolves it, but you will have to re-enter the address or search query.

I'm using Firefox on my Android phone (model: Samsung Galaxy, Android version 14), and whenever I watch YouTube videos, the playback is choppy and lags every few seconds, even on stable Wi-Fi. Hi developers, I'm running Firefox on an Android tablet and ran into an issue. When I enable the desktop version of the browser, accessing websites (like searching on Baidu) fails to load the desktop version. I compared Edge browser with Firefox and found through website UserAgent detection that when Edge runs desktop websites, it switches UserAgent to Linux, while Firefox maintains Android UserAgent for desktop sites. This causes some websites to ignore network requests and load mobile versions. To resolve this, we need to disable and re-enable desktop website access first, which may allow the site to respond to desktop requests.

Can I adjust the settings to switch to the desktop version of the website? I don't want to switch to another browser.

Can't play (listen to youtube) after locking phone anymore. Can't listen to youtube in a different tab anymore. And still can't load comments on videos except youtube shorts

I'm having an issue were any video on firefox i watch automatically pauses. sometimes it takes a few seconds, sometimes instantly.

I've tried restarting firefox and my chromebook, deleting cookies & cache and reinstalling firefox. but nothing helped. It seemed fine for a bit after restarting my chromebook but than it started happening again. Turning off adblock just causes it to pause the ads.

If anyone has an idea of what to do that would be great!
