I am experiencing an issue with Firefox where the Print Preview window automatically opens whenever I open my PPT/PDF file in Firefox.

As shown in the attached screenshot, Firefox immediately displays the Print panel instead of simply opening the document for viewing. I have to manually click Cancel or press Esc every time.

I did not intentionally select the Print option, and I would like Firefox to open the document normally without automatically launching Print Preview.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know how I can prevent the Print Preview window from opening automatically?

I used to be able to sign in and out of substack until this last update for pc. For some reason it will not let me do anything on this site. Wondered what setting I have checked or un-checked that might be the problem. Thank you.

Version 157.0 (64bit) has updated and resizing has caused issues. Previously, on my laptop screen, when I was viewing pdfs in browser I would navigate to the Tools dropdown and view the document properties at the very bottom of the dropdown. Before the update, all of the menu items fit without needing to scroll (when the window was fullscreen). Now, i must scroll in the dropdown to access Document Properties. The update resized the menu, making it longer and now it overflows. Please consider resizing back to original size or allowing users to adjust the dropdown menu.

In the newly released 157, the drop-down menu on the Bookmarks sidebar is missing. This prevents you from switching between sidebars unless the vertical sidebar menu is open, a real waste of real estate. The other sidebars, such as History, retain their menus. If you have the History sidebar open, and use the drop-down menu to switch to Bookmarks, now you're stuck--the only way out is to activate the "Customize sidebar" vertical menu and go through the processes to open the History sidebar.

Yes, there is a workaround: the History button. But this does not have an integrated search box, and the same sorting capabilities.

I am using the add on 'sidebery' for vertical tabs and I am so happy about and so gotten used to it! (No, sorry, I don't want to use the built-in option)

Today I updated to FF 157.0 and saw this annoying part in the sidebar (as seen in the image attached)! WTaF? o.O I didn't ask for them to take up space in the sidebar that could fit almost TWO vertical tabs! Can I somehow make it go away? Or do I have to contact the creator of 'sidebery' (which I don't think is the culprit)?

157.0 made bookmarks sparce again. How to restore high density? Old methods dont help.

Title. 156.0 had NVIDIA Video Super Resolution working just fine. 156.0.1 has broken it on my setup. Nothing I have done has brought it back - toggling settings, clearing caches, forcing it on in about:config, etc. The plugin seems to be broken.

Was working just fine for over a year prior.

Latest Stable Firefox 156.0.1 RTX 5080 Driver 596.49 (May '26)

Does not show as working in the Control Panel, and is clearly not working on any video site. YouTube, the BBC, and Twitch were the ones most tested.

When i am using my home wifi, firefox can connect no problem. When using a public wifi or school wifi it struggles to load into any site. I have tried adjusting the proxy settings and erasing any cache and restarting my laptop. I cant even update fire fox because it cant download the update.

I'm trying to transfer bookmarks from Chrome but when the window opens Chrome is not an option, only Safara and transfering html and cvs. How do I access Chrome? I'm on an iMac. Thank you.

Is there any way to revert to the old Firefox style before the update to 157.0 without downgrading? Bit too round for my taste and it's not as easy to recognise favicons, read tab names, and read bookmarks with the weird colour gradient in the background

So that I don't uninstall it right away, I need instructions on how to disable this extremely ugly color scheme and design. Does Firefox want to lose its last remaining users to Chrome, too?

Why would something like this be changed without my consent? That's probably the biggest insult I've ever experienced.
