Maybe you could try using the following server settings:

1. Incoming Server (IMAP recommended):

1.1. IMAP: mail.centurylink.net Port: 993 Security: SSL

1.2. POP: pop.centurylink.net Port: 995 Security: SSL

2. Outgoing Server SMTP: smtp.centurylink.net Port: 587 Security: TLS if available
